VAFIOS HOUSES of Lesvos island

VAFIOS HOUSES are located 60 km from the island's capital, Mytilene and 5 km from Molivos (Mithymna). They are located in Vafios village, on the slopes of Mount Lepetymnos. They are free-standing with beautiful garden and views of Molivos, the mountains and the Aegean Sea.

They operate all year round and each one of them has two rooms, bathroom and two balconies of 60 sqm at the front. There is a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen (cooker, oven, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, cutlery etc.) and a sitting room with TV, armchairs, sofas (that become beds, for extra guests) comfortably set in front of the fireplace.

In the bathroom there is a bath tab, a hair-dryer and there is always hot water provided by a solar/electric system.
In addition, there is full-cycle air-conditioning; in winter time we provide wood for the open fire.

In a distance of 100 meters from Vafios Houses, one will find our restaurant, "Taverna Vafios", that operates from Easter to October.
In the surrounding area, outside the houses, there is small road and the houses can be reached through a cobble-stone path.
Finally, there is a big garden where BIO vegetables are cultivated (tomatoes, zucchinis, grapes etc.) that are use in our local recipes in our restaurant, Vafios Tavern.
